No .htaccess in Subrion folder
Posted by Vasily B. on 06 August 2015 01:08 AM

Greetings,

Subrion CMS core version comes with .htaccess file. It might be hidden by default on some systems (Mac, Linux) so when you unpack the core archive there is no .htaccess file in the system.

If you have 404 errors, one of the reasons could be the lack of a proper .htaccess file in your Subrion root folder. Please recheck if you indeed have it, and if you do please compare it to the default one that comes with the core files.

If you still have any problems, please get in touch with our support team and we will assist.

Thanks!

My Problem
You don't have permission to access /subrion/install/index.php on this server.
Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe

It looks like your server does not allow access to .htaccess files. Sounds like a private issue. Please submit a ticket with your FTP details and we will recheck what's wrong there

Thanks

The requested URL /login/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Hi,

.htaccess file is mandatory. It uses rules to redirect your URLs to a correct php file controller. So you should not delete anything in it, otherwise the software won't work properly.
If you have any issues, please submit a ticket and we can advise.

Thanks
