I can't chose category ?

    hello

    when i want to create new article

    i click on chose category

    Miscellaneous (Change)

    i go to the index ??

    i don't change any thing in the template ?

    any idea please ?

    I suppose it's a Javascript error on your page. Can you tell me where are you installed script?

    installed on http://127.0.0.1/xoo/

    Base URL to script cPanel®

    Directory where eSyndiCat is installed xoo/

    i try with CleanCSS/Default template same problem

    i see the source of page all the url same to be ok !!

    Greetings,
    Is there any chance to check the problem on real server? It's kinda difficult to fix problems on URLs like that 8)

    I'm sorry but we can not help if we do not have access to the server :(

    thank i will try but this not the only problem

    when i upload avatar and create article the picture don't show

    and the link look not right see

    xoo/users_data/qqweavatar.gif

    i enter the folder users_data

    the link must be like that

    xoo/users_data/q/qwe/avatar.gif

    and when i see the article i see also scrollbar down the page ( left+right)

    any idea ?

    Try to insert into .htaccess file next lines
    Code (Text):

    <files *.js.gz>
    AddType "text/javascript" .gz
    AddEncoding gzip .gz
    </files>
     
    if problem will exists, post here.

    i upload the files without extension gz

    and it works now but i see new box why ?

    Also i don't see the preview before the transmission?

    Can I add it to the script ?

    I suppose, you talk about categories tree? It's appears above submit box, like in eSyndiCat free.

    Oh, it's a bug...
    Go to administrator panel -> Manage Database and run 3 queries one by one
    Code (Text):

    DELETE FROM `{prefix}language` WHERE `key`='listing_submitted'
    INSERT INTO `{prefix}language` VALUES (NULL, 'listing_submitted_approval', 'Thank you! Your article was submitted for consideration', 'English', 'frontend')
    INSERT INTO `{prefix}language` VALUES (NULL, 'listing_submitted', 'Thank you! Your article was submitted.', 'English', 'frontend')
     
    It's should helps you.

    No, Pro version only has a preview feature.

    Unfortunately, hasn't this feature yet :-/

    This template is exists only for PRO version, design integration for free version will cost about $200 USD

    I have a similar problem where the dropdown box does not list any categories, it is blank. When trying to submit the article, then the error message displays that no category was selected. I tried the help offered in previous posts but no luck so far..

    Could you please clarify what package you have? Articles or Directory. We have just released core 2.2.2 version and later this week we will update all the packages.

    Thanks for the clarifying. Please create a new ticket in our helpdesk. The guys will take care of it tomorrow. We will release a new version of the articles script and perform the upgrade for you as the new version has tons of improvements and all the known issues were fixed in it.
