    Greetings,

Here is some inside information on the progress with our templates system. Gleb is working on the new framework that's based on twitter bootstrap. We will add some missing elements there that are used commonly in the software (categories display, listing boxes, fieldsets, etc.) and we will provide a detailed page where all these CSS classes will be listed. In the same manner like bootstrap does it.
We will use these classes only we will recommend to use them for the custom plugins & packages you might have.

In this case all templates will be compatible and you will not need to worry about release updates.

How long do you think until the new template system is implemented?

Basically it's not that new, we already use default bootstrap, and I suppose the classnames for the own elements will be the same - we will arrange them in bootstrap compile so you would be able to setup some CSS variables and regenerate your bootstrap code. It's new for esyndicat though
