    Similar to this thread: https://subrion.org/forums/threads/upgrade-from-ver-4-1-1-to-4-1-2.2738/
I find that the url offered for updating is causing a 404 error in my browser (Edge).

So I need to download the new package, no problem but there's no info on upgrading in new package only installing. Are there any specific update rules for 4.1+ series or is it similar to install and does it do automatic update using install keeping existing data in tact?

Or can I simply copy files over old files?

    Regards,
    Eric

In my case,I did it, yes:
    1. I logged in to cms
    2. After clicking the link upgrade,an address was created:
    http://subr411.krynica-zdroj.eu/"http://subr411.krynica-zdroj.eu/install/upgrade/check/4.1.2//"
    3. Cut: http://your_domain/install/upgrade/ and paste into your browser click ENTER
    4. Your update will be launched,no problem.

Thank you for your response, it didn't help me BUT in the mean time I figured out what my issue was(!)

In case you have the following in your htaccess or vhost file:
    Code (Text):

      Redirect /setup http://www.yourdomain.xx/
      Redirect /install http://www.yourdomain.xx/

upgrades will Always fail, so it was simply a security measure in my case that was preventing the upgrade to execute. I had simply forgotten I had this in place....

    Thank you guys,
    Eric
